Got this feeling after i saw an accident involving several cars while driving back from Prai. Malaysia claim to have one of the best traffic system, but accident occur rate is also one of the best, in the world.
Think about it, it is due to several reasons :
1. Everyone should agree with me about this, except Pak Lah or maybe directors of local car manufacturers. Proton and Perudua sux!!! Lets face it, majority of the car infesting the traffic now is Proton Wira, then maybe Perudua cars. Having drive by majority of Malaysian, Proton Wira provides us *NO* safety!! *NO* Airbag, *NO* ABS, not to mention it is sold at non-reasonable price too. Car loses control being the major factor that causes accident, WHERE IS DA ABS WHEN WE NEED IT? &, most of the time, lives can be saved if the car has air-bag. Proton, do us some favor, will you!?!?!
2. Speed kills? Maybe, but the driving attitude overwhelm the factor of causes accident IMO (in my opinion). What kind of attitude Malaysian has while driving? ………
- Turning without putting signal
- Not letting other car passes him, thus stick to front car leaving only 1 inch.
- Yellow light not equal to stop, it means ACCELERATE FAST to cross
- Cut into other lane without putting signal, worse of all, they didn’t even look at side mirror nor rear mirrow. *SWEAT* This apply to most bikers.
I think we must includes these in Malaysian charateristic in primary school text book.
3. Some part of highway is bumpy, and no light during the night. When highway is bumpy, when raining water will not drain away, it stays at lower ground. Needless to say what will happen if high-speed car drive through.
There maybe other reasons still. Local car manufacturer please do us favor, use updated technology (proton wira still using old technology fuel inject system, thats what i heard), because car itself play very important role in ensuring driver’s safety, at least put la air-bag at every car.
